Oleg Baran was born on 23 September 1976 in Lviv. He graduated in Human Resource Management at Lviv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the Ukrainian Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. He continued his education at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management where he majored. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and Human Resource Management.

He started his activity in 1998. Along with his family he set up Barkom LLC - a meat-processing company. He currently serves as the co-founder and vice president of Barkom LLC (™Family Sausage). The company employs over a thousand people. In 2009 Oleg Baran became the President of Barkom-Kazhani volleyball club. He was the initiator of the first Student Olympic games, and Lion's Cup -international volleyball tournament. Married. He has three daughters and two sons.

Krastinsh Ugis was born on 16 May 1970 in Latvia.

He previously worked for seven years with a Finnish club - VaLePa (2009-2016). During that period the club twice won the Finnish Championship (2012, 2014), as well as silver (2011, 2016) and bronze (2013, 2015) awards.

Last season, ValePa presented its best result in European cups - advancing to the quarter-finals of the CEV Cup.

Before starting his coaching career, Krastins played as a setter. He ended his volleyball career in 2008. He played in Finland for a long time (since 1995). He was twice a champion of the country, and in 2005 he was recognized as the best player of the championships. He participated in the match of the stars of the Finnish league four times.

According to the CEV website, during the qualifying tournaments for the 2012 Olympics and the 2013 European Championships, he worked for the Latvian national team, where he assisted a opposite USSR player - Raymond Wilde.
